News of Chinese incursion in Indian Territory is not new to us but the unprecedented violation of territorial boundary in Ladakh in recent times caused tension for both defense and diplomatic apparatus of the nation. In context of these recent developments, IPF monograph on China looks apt and timely. The monograph delves deep into various issues related to Indo-Sino relationship.

While releasing the monograph Sh. Prameet Pal Chaudhuri said, China is trying to influence intellectuals by investing money in different institutions. China is also trying to co-opt Indian media. Despite emerging as a bigger economic and military power, China has territorial issues with Vietnam, Philippines, Mongolia and many others. India should mobilize these countries in its favor.

Dr Rajiv Nayan objected to the term ‘threat from China’ and said it is a hard hitting reality.
